— What we do —
We have a Positive and
Strength-based
Approach to Therapy
Our approach can help individuals and families learn the necessary skills to improve relationships and enhance their well-being. We also work through anxiety, depression or stages of life concerns, and work with couples for marital counseling as well.
— How we do it —
Behavioral
Modification
Instead of focusing on negative thinking patterns or ideas, behavior modification focuses on sequences of behavior. This therapy aims to alter actions that lead to specific outcomes.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Helps you become aware of inaccurate or negative thinking so you can view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in a more effective way.
Solution-Focused
Therapy
The focus is on the client’s health rather than the problem, on strengths rather than weaknesses or deficits, and on skills, resources and coping abilities that would help in reaching future goals.
Motivational
Interviewing
It is designed to strengthen personal motivation for and commitment to a specific goal by eliciting and exploring
the person’s own reasons for change within an atmosphere of acceptance and compassion.
Accepted Insurance
We also see self-pay clients, as well as those with various EAP policies.
For any other insurance plans, please call your insurance provider, speak to your employer, or call our office to verify plan coverage.
